PAS Portfolio

As part of the schools evaluation system and for ongoing documentation of my professional growth as a teacher-librarian, I will use this space to share documents, examples of student work etc.  Please click on the links below to learn more about how I am meeting each of the following standards.

Standard 1: Instructional Planning

The teacher plans using the school’s curriculum, effective strategies, resources, and data to meet the needs of all students.

Standard 2: Instructional Delivery

The teacher effectively engages students in learning by using a variety of instructional strategies in order to meet individual learning needs.

Standard 3: Assessment of/for Learning

The teacher systematically gathers, analyzes, and uses data to measure student progress, guide instruction, and provide timely feedback.

Standard 4: Learning Environment

The teacher uses resources, routines, and procedures to provide a respectful, positive, safe, student centered environment that is conducive to learning.

Standard 5: Professionalism

The teacher maintains a commitment to professional ethics, international mindedness, and the school’s mission; and takes responsibility for and participates in professional growth that results in enhancement of student learning.

Standard 6: Student Progress

The work of the teacher results in acceptable and measurable student progress.


Syracuse Masters Portfolio

As part of my Masters of Library and Information Science degree at Syracuse University, I am required to put together a portfolio of work.
