This morning we talked about copy rights. I feel like I really know very little about copyright issues. We briefly talked about fair use, which is what I have thought about in the past when we are talking about copyright issues, but it sounded like that is often over used.
What I found most interesting was when we were talking about professors giving students digital articles or even paper copies to use for class readings. Who's responsibility is it to make sure we are respecting the copy right. Should the students have to worry about what their professors are giving them or does the burden lay with them? Although I hear the policy class is not everyone's favorites, I'm looking forward to learning more about this issue, especially so I can help my students in the future.
